Referrals

Electronic correspondence:

It is our preference that we receive referrals and correspondence electronically please. We are able to receive correspondence via the following secure methods:

• Healthlink - EDI 'curomedi'​

• Email - secretary@curomedical.com.au​

Alternatively, if you wish to send a referral via fax - (03) 8593 7544 - but please then call (03) 8899 6266 to confirm that we have received a legible fax. There is no reliable way to be sure that a fax is actually received, unlike Healthlink or Email, and no easy way for us to contact you back if the fax is illegible.

Referrals from GPs will be valid for 12 months, unless you specify an "indefinite referral" which covers ongoing care under Medicare guidelines.

If your practice uses Healthlink, you will receive correspondence electronically.
